The quantitative analysis of ions in the solution of the cell using the potential values measured in the electrochemical cell created with a comparison (reference) electrode and a suitable working (indicator) electrode is called potentiometry. Potentiometry is an electrochemical analysis method used in cases where a suitable colored indicator is not possible (eg very dark colored or very dilute solutions).
Acid-base reactions and reduction-oxidation reactions can be performed in the Potentiometric Titrator device. This method is also used in the analysis of two or more different components.
